“This export success story is the result of the close and successful collaboration we have with our largest export customer Swefl and the Mubasher family that own it”, says Niklas Gustafsson, who is Norra Timber’s Sales Manager for the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).

Since the collaboration began in 2013, the relationship between the two companies has grown ever stronger – despite some challenges along the way. Many deals have been negotiated and the majority of boats with finished products have been sent over the years from the harbor outside Umeå to Alexandria in Egypt.

“Our ability to collaborate and implement smart solutions has been decisive in reaching these large volumes and impressive figures. We look forward to continuing to strengthen partnerships with our customers in Egypt”, says Niklas Gustafsson.
